About Toms River Commercial Refrigeration
A referral service for Toms River & Ocean County, NJ — not a refrigeration contractor.
Toms River Commercial Refrigeration is a trade name of Swell Ventures LLC. We are a referral service: we connect businesses with licensed local refrigeration contractors and step back. We do not perform, supervise, or guarantee any work, and we are not a party to any agreement between you and a contractor.
Why this site exists
Commercial refrigeration is bought under pressure by somebody who has never had to buy it before. A manager with a walk-in at 47°F is not comparing contractors; they are trying to find one who will answer. This site exists to make that a short search with a good outcome, and to be honest with them about what it is going to cost and how quickly anyone can realistically get there.
Where we work
We cover 25 towns across Ocean County — Toms River and the Route 37 corridor, the northern food-retail towns, the Seaside and Long Beach Island boroughs, the Route 9 corridor south to Little Egg Harbor, and the Pinelands communities out to Whiting and New Egypt. Pick your town on the coverage page, or just tell us what has gone wrong.
How we vet the crews
Before any contractor receives a referral from us, we confirm their New Jersey Master HVACR Contractor licence is active on the state register and we record the date we checked. A crew taking this site on exclusively also provides a current certificate of insurance, workers’ compensation, and EPA Section 608 certification for the technicians who will run the calls. These checks describe a moment in time and are not an endorsement — always ask to see a certificate of insurance yourself. See how it works for the detail.
How we are paid
A refrigeration contractor pays us a flat monthly fee to receive the requests this site produces. Businesses never pay us anything and we take no part of what you pay a contractor. We have an interest in you contacting a contractor, and none at all in which one you choose or whether you hire them.
Reaching us
We do not run a public phone line or a storefront — we are reachable by email at contact@tomsrivercommercialrefrigeration.com. We reply within one business day, and we move breakdowns straight away. For an actual fault, the fastest route is always to log it.
