What we check before you go live

Your New Jersey Master HVACR Contractor licence is active on the state register. We look it up and record the date we checked. That is it.

— EPA Section 608 certification (Type II or Universal) for the technicians who will run the calls
— Certificate of general liability insurance — New Jersey requires HVACR licensees to carry at least $500,000 per occurrence
— Workers' compensation coverage, or documentation of exemption
Leads pause until a current copy reaches us. That protects you as much as the business at the other end: the crew whose name is on this site is the one who answers for the work.
What this arrangement is, plainly
So there is no confusion before you apply. This holds at both stages.
- This is a marketing and lead-referral arrangement. We generate and refer enquiries; we do not guarantee any number of them in a month.
- Volume varies and search rankings move. This market is also seasonal — the island and the boardwalk boroughs are a different business in July than in February.
- Any job, quote, contract, price, warranty and dispute is strictly between you and the customer. We are not a party to it and we take no cut.
- This site and its domain remain owned and operated by Swell Ventures LLC, the company behind Toms River Commercial Refrigeration and the party you would be contracting with. Renting it means you receive every lead it produces for a flat monthly rate. You are paying for leads, not buying the site.
- Renting requires your documentation in full, held on file and kept current for the term. It is a condition of the agreement, not a formality, and leads stop if it lapses.
- Either of us can end it for any reason on 30 days' written notice — the same right on the same terms, both ways. We can also stop referrals immediately if a licence or policy lapses, if a payment is missed, or for unlawful or unprofessional conduct. Leads already sent stay yours to work.
- The monthly rate is not published and not fixed. Swell Ventures LLC sets it at the close of the trial based on what this site demonstrably produced for you, and quotes it for you to accept or decline.

How do the leads reach me?
By email the moment a request comes in, with full contact details, ready to call. Once you are set up you also get a private lead bank where every one is waiting for you.
Are other crews competing for the same job?
Never for the same job — each request goes to one crew. Whether anyone else is trialling alongside you depends on the month, and some sites only ever run with one crew. Ask and we will tell you the real number rather than imply a crowd. Renting ends the question either way.
How many leads will I get?
It varies month to month and we do not guarantee a number — this is marketing, and search traffic moves. What we can promise on the rental is that every qualified lead the site produces goes to you and to nobody else.
Do you take a cut of the job?
No. Whatever you quote and collect is entirely yours. We charge for the leads, never a percentage of the work.
I only do ice machines / I only do walk-ins. Is that a problem?
No. You pick your exact services and towns when you sign up, and you are only matched to work you have said you do.
Do I need to cover the whole county?
No, and most crews do not. You tell us the towns you will genuinely travel to. A crew that says yes to Barnegat Light in July and then cannot get there does more damage than one that says no.
